GREEN DAY FOR NURSERY, LKG AND UKG

St. Crispin’s Senior Secondary School Celebrated Green Day for Nursery, LKG and UKG on Friday, 28th July 2023. Students were very thoughtful as they wore green colour attire and brought green colour food to showcase their love for the environment. It was a sight to behold. Through this activity, the students were told the importance of the green colour and how they can keep their earth green and clean. A plantation drive was also conducted with our Principal Dr. Sujata Chawdhry, later she motivated students to keep the surroundings green. The children had a collage activity.

The shades of green filled the air with freshness, thrill, ecstasy and bliss. It also prompted them to think about how the green colour energizes and revitalizes our lives. It was indeed an invigorating, reviving and rejuvenating experience. As a takeaway, each child was given a sapling to plant in their home with their parents to promote our thought “GO GREEN??

St. Crispin’s Senior Secondary School in collaboration with *Smile Foundation *Celebrated *International Friendship Day on the 27th of July 2023 with the students of Neev Foundation, *Gurugram.

Our children of Grade III tied friendship band to all their newly made friends of the Neev Foundation. They celebrated their new bond by exchanging chocolates, cards and sapling.

They cherished their new bond with their new friends and made memories by playing, sketching, singing and dancing with them.

Our children were very grateful towards our Principal Dr. Sujata Chawdhry for this opportunity and loved the visit to the Neev Foundation.

It's a matter of pride for us that our blooming buds have started exploring the world. Our students of Grades l and 2 participated in Talent- Triumph, An Inter-School Competition held on the 22nd of July 2023 in Euro International School Sector 109.

Our student Ms Prisha Bhagat bagged 3rd position in the Mono acting competition whereas a participation certificate was bagged by Ms Hunar for Dance, Ms Jenna for Drawing, and Mst. Sanskaar for Clay Art and Mst. Christeen for Singing.

The students were confident, happy and cheerful.

"TALENT TRIUMPH - 2023-24

The students of St. Crispin's Sr. Sec. School, Classes I and II, showcased their exceptional talents and enthusiasm at the much-awaited "TALENT TRIUMPH - 2023-24" on Saturday, 22nd July 2023. The event, held at Euro International School, Sector 109, brought together young talents from various schools, fostering a spirit of healthy competition among them.

The central theme for this year's event was "Rescue Mother Earth," aiming to raise awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability. The students embraced this theme wholeheartedly and demonstrated their creativity in the following competitions:

1. Rhythm Rumble

2. Melody Masters

3. Clay Creations

4. Colour Castle and

5. The Solo Act Extravaganza

The atmosphere at "TALENT TRIUMPH" was filled with excitement and positive energy, as the young contestants participated with passion and dedication. Each performance showcased the students' genuine concern for the environment.

The judges had the challenging task of evaluating the performances, as each act was unique and praiseworthy in its own way. However, the true essence of "TALENT TRIUMPH" lay in the valuable lessons learned by the young participants about the importance of preserving and cherishing our planet.

The event concluded with an award ceremony, where all the participants were acknowledged and applauded for their outstanding efforts and Prisha Bhagat of Class II had secured the third position in The Solo Act Extravaganza and as recognition of her exceptional performance, she had been awarded with an accolade and a certificate.

The tiny tots of classes Nursery, LKG and UKG of St. Crispin’s Senior Secondary School celebrated “Yellow Day” on Monday, 17th July 2023 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The campus was filled with vibrant shades of yellow as our enthusiastic students came dressed in yellow attire. It was a sight to behold! Students actively participated in the celebration and went back home happily.

Entab's 3rd Round Table Conference of the year for Gurugram Region was held on 24th June 2023 in New Delhi in which 25 educators from the renowned schools of Gurugram were invited.

The Principal of St. Crispin's Sr. Sec. School, Dr. Sujata Chawdhry was one of the Eminent Speakers in the Conference. The topic was Effective Pedagogy in the context of a Competency -Based Curriculum. Dr Sujata Chawdhry spoke extensively on the topic: How teachers can be trained and supported in developing and implementing effective pedagogical practices.

SCS Family feels elated to share the joy with all our stakeholders and well-wishers that nine students of our school have received appreciation letters from our Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. These students had participated in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023. Our Honourable Prime Minister, has not only applauded the students for their immense calibre and potential but also assured them about the new avenues and opportunities that the government is trying to provide for our youth in the field of industries, medicines, sports, start-ups etc.

On May 17, 2023, Advocate Mr. Dharmvir Verma

(Brand Ambassador for District Legal Services Authority, Gurugram) and Ms. Sapna Hindustani hosted an awareness camp for Class XII students on topics such as road safety, the POCSO Act, cybercrime, legal knowledge, smart mobile phone use, and social issues.

The uniqueness of the awareness programme is that it was backed with play cards, visuals, skits, and the use of relevant instances.

St. Crispin’s Senior Secondary School, celebrated Mother’s Day on 12thMay, 2023 with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students from Grades Nursery to II expressed their love and gratitude with various performances like skits, poems, songs and speeches. Our Principal Dr. Sujata Chawdhry shared some beautiful words depicting the importance of mothers in one’s life. The program commenced by seeking the blessings of the Almighty Lord and concluded with a Vote of thanks. To make it memorable we had a group photograph session grade-wise with mothers and children.

Mothers were very happy and cherished the day in their memory forever.

St. Crispin’s Senior Secondary School celebrated World Laughter Day on May 8, 2023. Students celebrated the day by beginning with a joyous song followed by Stand Up comedy and joke-telling activity. Our Principal Dr. Sujata Chawdhry commenced the celebration by sharing a joke with the students. The school premises was filled with giggles and laughter. Students enjoyed the day and took lot many memories back home.

*“Diversity In India”*.

The activity commenced by seeking the blessings of our Lord Almighty. Students were beautifully dressed up in varied state attire and performed outstanding dances depicting the culture of the state they were representing.

Our Principal Ma’am Dr. Sujata Chawdhry felicitated students with certificates for their commendable performance and motivated our tiny tots for being energetic and smart.
